What is it?
This guide provides a detailed overview of creating and managing quizzes in Canvas using the New Quizzes interface. It covers step-by-step instructions for setting up quizzes, exploring question types, and publishing quizzes. Additionally, it highlights the differences between New Quizzes and Classic Quizzes, and offers resources for further support, including links to guides and contact information for technical assistance.
Step 1:
Navigate to the desired course and go to the "Quizzes" tab.
Step 2:
Click the "+ Quiz" button.
Step 3:
Select "New Quizzes" and then click "Submit"
Step 4:
Name the assignment and set the point value of the assignment.
Also set up the following options.
Step 5:
Click "Build" in the bottom right.
Step 6:
Click the "+" to create the questions.
Here is a list of the possible question types.
Step 7:
Click return in the top right.
Step 8:
Open the quiz you were previously editing.
Step 9:
Click "Save & Publish" to publish the quiz.
