What Is It?
Pearson is an education company that provides a variety of learning resources such as eTextbooks, online courses, and assessment tools. When integrated with Canvas, Pearson allows instructors and students to seamlessly access digital textbooks, quizzes, assignments, and other interactive content directly within their courses. *Note Montana Tech IT Help Desk does not provide support for Pearson, if you have any issues reach out to Pearson Support. If you have any issues with the LTI you can reach out to the IT Help Desk.*
Who Can Use It?
Pearson's tools in Canvas are available to educators and students at institutions that have adopted Pearson's educational products and services. Instructors can embed Pearson resources into their Canvas courses, and students can access those resources as part of their coursework.
Where Can I Access It?
You can access Pearson's tools within Canvas by navigating to the Modules or Assignments section of your course. Look for resources labeled as Access Pearson (e.g., MyLab or Mastering). Simply click on the resource to view content, complete assignments, or access eTextbooks.
