The canvas commons section allows you to use public content and import it to your own course and also export your course content as a public resource for others
Return to Table of Contents
Step 1:
Navigate to the commons section within canvas.
Step 2:
Use the search bar to search for the desired content. *Note the highlighted bar at the top is used to see courses you have favorited or interacted with previously in different ways.*
Step 3:
After searching click on the desired course/module/etc....
Step 4:
After looking through the course if you like it click "Import/Download".
Step 4:
Select the course you want to import the common too and click import.
Return to Table of Contents
Step 1:
After navigating to the desired course click "Settings".
Step 2:
Click "Share to Commons"
Step 3:
Choose the desired settings for the share. Then click "Share"
