Where Can I Access It?
If you would like to enable Online Archive, change your Photo ID settings, or edit your Email Signature, please go to your www.mtech.edu/app/cts/mtechprofile/index.html.
Who Can Access it.
Both students and faculty can access this tool, but students only have access to the photo ID section. Not the online email archive and email signature.
Online Email Archive
Montana Tech employees have the option to enable Exchange Online Archive. Exchange Online Archive, when enabled, gives you an additional 50GB of archive storage. The archive storage is accessible through Outlook and the Outlook web app. You cannot access the archive storage through mobile devices such as a phone or tablet. By default, any emails older than 2 years will move from your primary mailbox to the archive storage. You can change the default archive setting on individual folders to archive more frequently (1 year) less frequently (5 years) or disable archive for a folder (never move to archive). You can also drag email messages from your primary mailbox into the archive location. The search functionality will search both your primary mailbox and the archive location.
Photo ID
Employees have the ability to display their photo ID's when using certain Montana Tech services, specifically in Outlook Address book, Office365, and the Faculty/Staff Directory. They also have the ability to upload their own image to be used in the system. However, if they do choose to upload their own image, this change will not be reflected until Fridays at 7:30 p.m., as the database is not updated throughout the week until then.
Email Signature
Finally, employees have the option to create and edit their email signature. This signature appears at the end of any email sent out from the Montana Tech account, and displays the user's name, title, office phone number, email, pronouns, and display a logo from a set selection.
Students
Students only have access to the Photo ID settings on this page. Similar to faculty, they have the ability to display their photo when using Montana Tech services as well as being able to upload their own images.
