What is it?
As an employee or student of Montana Tech, you are eligible to download the latest Microsoft Office 365 Suite of software.
Who Can Get it?
Current Montana Tech students and employees.

Installation for Windows
Step 1:
Navigate to your Montana Tech email through the main Montana Tech website.
Step 2:
After logging into your email, click the waffle icon in the top left.
Step 3:
This will expand a menu with the Office 365 applications, click the 'More Apps' navigation button on the bottom left.
Step 4:
From this page, navigate to the top right and expand the 'Install apps' drop down. You will want to click the first option for 'Microsoft 365 apps'. A new tab will open for the Microsoft Account Portal. Click 'Install Office.' This will prompt you to download an EXE file onto your computer.
Step 5:
After the executable has installed, simply open it to begin the installation process.
Installation for Mac
Step 1:
Navigate to your Montana Tech email through the main Montana Tech website.
Step 2:
After logging into your email, click the waffle icon in the top left.
Step 3:
This will expand a menu with the Office 365 applications, click the 'More Apps' navigation button on the bottom left.
Step 4:
From this page, navigate to the top right and expand the 'Install apps' drop down. You will want to click the first option for 'Microsoft 365 apps'. A new tab will open for the Microsoft Account Portal. Click 'Install Office.' This will prompt you to download an installer.pkg onto your computer.
Step 5:
Once the download has completed, open Finder, go to Downloads, and open the installer.pkg file.
Step 6:
Select 'Continue' and agree to all terms and conditions.
Step 7:
When prompted, enter your Mac username and password and click 'Install Software'.
Step 8:
Once the software has finished installing, click 'Close' to finish.
Installation for Android
Step 1:
Open the Google Play Store and search "Microsoft Office". Select 'Install'.
Step 2:
If prompted to login, login with your Montana Tech Email credentials.
Step 3:
If you are logged in automatically from other accounts on your phone and still need to add your Montana Tech email, click the profile icon at the top left.
Step 4:
On the "Me" page, click the 'Connect account' option.
Step 5:
After clicking this, you will be prompted to log in. Enter your Montana Tech Email credentials and follow the prompts. This will add your student/faculty account to the list.
Installation for IOS
Step 1:
Open the iOS App Store and search "Microsoft Office". Select Get:
Step 2:
If prompted to log in go ahead and do so. However if not, tap the Sign In button:
NOTE: If you already are logged in by default and would like to add an additional account, skip to Step 3.
Enter your Montana Tech email and select Next:
Enter your password when prompted to and select Next again.
Step 3:
If you would like to add another account click on the profile icon in the top left corner and select Add or Switch Accounts:
Step 4:
Then select the Add Account button:
Repeat Step 2 to sign into your additional account.
