Connecting to eduRoam on Windows 10

Accessing Montana Tech’s wireless network using Windows 10.

Who Can Use It?

Anyone with a Montana Tech account.

Connecting to eduRoam

  1. Open your Windows Wireless Connection Manager located in the Taskbar on the right-hand corner. Refer to Figure 1: Wireless Connection Manager screenshot.

  2. Select the wireless network called eduRoam or MTDorms and click Connect. Refer to Figure 2: eduRoam network selection.

Note: If you want to automatically re-connect to this network when it is in range, make sure you have Connect Automatically checked.

  1. When the Network Authentication window appears, enter your Montana Tech email address (username@mtech.edu) and password, then click OK. This is the same password for MyMTech and email login. Refer to Figure 3: Network authentication prompt.

  2. Confirm that you would like to connect to the Wireless Network by clicking “Connect.” Refer to Figure 4: Wireless network connection confirmation.
