Read&Write Installation Process - Windows
Montana Tech provides access to a license of Read&Write Literacy Software. Read&Write offers many features such as: text to speech, speech to text, highlighting tools, translators, study tools, screen masking, accessible PDF Reading.

Step 1:
Navigate to the Text Help website using the following link - https://www.texthelp.com/products/read-and-write-education/
Step 2:
Select "Try Read&Write."
Step 3:
You will be given several download options, select "Windows US EN" in order to proceed.
- By selecting this, it will prompt a download.
Step 4:
When the download has been complete, continue by opening the application in your downloads bar.
Step 5:
When the application opens, select "Accept and Install."
Step 6:
Once the application has finished the installation process, select it from your desktop.
Step 7:
A little Read and Write pop-up should show up. Click on the icon and it should take you to the sign-in page for the first time.
Step 8:
Select "Sign in with Microsoft" ➔ Enter your Montana Tech email into Microsoft (ex: montanatech@mtech.edu) ➔ Once redirected to the MyMtech page, proceed by logging in as you normally would.
Step 9:
In order to proceed, you must select "Accept" on the "Permissions Requested" pop-up.
Step 10:
When the desktop app is opened, it will request access to "Domain networks." In order to proceed, you must select "Allow access."

Montana Tech provides access to a license of Read&Write Literacy Software. To access Read&Write on a web browser, you must install an extension. Visit the Read&Write Web Browser Extensions section for more information.
