Using Breakout Rooms
Breakout rooms allow you to split your Zoom meeting in up to 50 separate sessions. The meeting host can choose to split the participants of the meeting into these separate sessions automatically or manually, and can switch between sessions at any time.
In order to use breakout rooms you must enable the feature in your Zoom settings first:
(Step 1) Sign in to the Zoom web portal: https://zoom.us/signin
(Step 2) In the navigation menu, click "Settings" and scroll down to the "In Meeting (Advanced)" section
(Step 3) Find "Breakout room" and make sure that it is switched to On. Check the box if you would like to assign groups when scheduling the meeting ahead of time. Then click "Save":
