Print remotely from a personal device with Papercut Mobility Print

What is it?

Papercut Mobility Print allows a user to print documents to any campus lab printer from their personal device, whether that be a Windows, Mac OS, Chrome OS, Android, or Apple iOS device.

Who can use it?

Papercut Mobility Print is accessible by any current student or faculty member with available funds on their Digger Dollars account.

 

How do I use it? (Mac OS, Chrome OS, Android, or Apple iOS)

On iPhone:

1. Navigate to the page you would like to print. Tap on the Share button in the top right corner.

2. In the Share menu, select "View More".

3. From the next menu that shows up, select Print.

4. You will see a list of printers. Select the printer you would like to use, and sign in using your Mtech credentials.

On other devices, you will be able to use the Papercut Mobility Print app.

Papercut Mobility Print is available only on devices connected to the eduroam campus Wi-Fi network. Your digger dollars account will be charged for printing.

Step 1.

Browse to Mobility Print - Windows Setup on your device for instructions on how to setup Papercut Mobility Print on a Windows device.

  • If you are not using a windows device, after opening the Mobility Print - Windows Setup, select one of the images that match your operating system as shown below.

Step 2.

When asked for your username and password, use your Montana Technological University email address and password.

 

Setting up printing on a Windows device

1. Browse to Mobility Print - Windows Setup, then download and run the Mobility Print installer.

2. You'll be prompted to select the printers you want to use, and to enter your Papercut username and password (your Montana Tech email address and password.

3. When it's time to print, just print like you normally do. Be sure to use a printer you previously selected when you installed Mobility Print.
