Adding Additional Mailboxes

What is it?

This will allow you to switch to another mailbox you have access to.

Who Can Have it?

Anyone with a Montana Tech account.

Online Version

Step 1:

Login to Outlook Web Access as you normally would.


Step 2:

In the top right-hand corner, click your profile picture icon and select "Open another mailbox."

Step 3:

Type the name of the mailbox you want to access (username, email address, or name) and click "Open." You can only successfully open other mailboxes that you have permission to access.

Step 4:

Once you have added the additional mailbox, it will appear in the left-side menu under "Groups."

Desktop Version

Step 1: Open the Outlook app on your desktop.


Step 2: Click on "File" in the top left corner.

Step 3: Under the Info section, click on "Add Account."

Step 4: Type in the email, username, or name of the mailbox you want to open.

Step 5: Restart the application to load the mailbox.

Step 6: The mailbox should now show up on the left side with your other mailboxes.
