What Is It?

25Live is Montana Tech's online room reservation system.

**Note: Some rooms will need approvals from the head of that building before a reservation can be made. This is also the case when including your reservation in a calendar. The calendar may need its own approval before the reservation can be added.

Anyone with a Montana Tech account.
 

How Can I Use It?

Follow these steps to request a room. After you have submitted your request, it is sent to the room's scheduler for approval. You will be notified via email when your request has been approved or denied.
 

Logging On

  1. Log into MyMTech
  2. Now to access the 25Live page, you have two choices:
     
    1. Manually go to the links through MyMtech
      1. On the left side of your MyMTech page, go to Important Links, then General Resources, shown in Figure 1-1.
      2. The 25Live links should be the first two. Either link works on desktop, but the desktop link does not work on mobile,
        shown in
        Figure 1-2.
    2. Alternatively, you can use the links below:

In the dashboard of your MyMtech page, search for the "Important Links for Students" card. Click on "25Live (Room Scheduling)."

Creating an Event

  1. In the top right corner of any 25Live page, there is a link titled Event Form. There is also a link titled Create an Event in the center of the homepage. Click on either of these to proceed. Refer to Figure 2-1
  2. On the next page, fill out the page as needed, not every block is required. Refer to Figure 2-2       
  3. Picking a location. Refer to Figure 2-3.
    1. You can filter by location with the left-hand bar, and search with the right-hand bar.
    2. For a remote meeting, search 'Remote' in the search bar without any filters applied. 
    3. To choose your location, hit the green 'Reserve' button in the left-hand column.
  4. Choosing a calendar. Refer to Figure 2-4.
    1. If you would like to add your event to a specific calendar, scroll down until you find the Resources section of the form.
    2. Expand the 'Saved Searches' box on the left and select 'All Web Calendars'. You can search for a specific calendar in the search box just to the right of the 'Saved Searches' box.
    3. When you've found the calendar you want, hit the green 'Reserve' button, or the blue 'Request' button next to it.

NOTE: For Locations and Calendars Some of them will need approvals from Specific people.

  1. When you are done, hit save at the bottom-right of the window. After clicking save, a confirmation screen will display. This is the end of the reservation process. You will be notified via your MTech email when your event is approved or denied.

NOTE: No matter where you are on the page, the save button will always be on the bottom right.

Availability

You can check the Availability tab to see more specified information on rooms and when they are available.

  1. To navigate there go to the home page of 25Live.
  2. Than hover over the More icon at the top right and go to availability. Refer to Figure 3-1
  3. From there you can see all the rooms and the times they are booked.
  4. If you want to look for a specific room you can look using the building search located in Figure 3-2

Checking an Event

On your dashboard, a block should appear titled 'Your Upcoming Events.' The location might differ based on your other blocks on your dashboard. Refer to Figure 4-1.
